The Catersource Future Star Winner Has Been Announced!
Please join us in congratulating our 2019 Catersource Future Star Winner… Alejandro Davila from Bavaru Catering!
Alejandro opened his own catering company in Canada after emigrating from Ecuador and previously living in Argentina. “My inspiration was to be able to share and create new experiences for other people through food and events.“
We are flying Alejandro to New Orleans to receive a VIP experience at Catersource. He will be mentored by some of the best in the industry including Kristin Banta, Dan Berger from Social Tables and Paul Saginaw from Zingerman's! Alejandro will hear from A-List Chef Curtis Stone (and eat his delicious food!), learn from James Beard Award winners and have endless networking opportunities to bring unprecedented knowledge back to his team.
Future Star Finalists
"In five years, I'd like Bianchi Productions to be recognized as one of the go-to event design and activation agencies for clients in the entertainment, marketing and high-end social worlds."
"I emigrated to Canada 8 years ago from Ecuador and previously lived in Argentina. My inspiration is to be able to share and create new experiences for other people through food and events."
"I can say that my "WHY" of bringing creativity and fun continues to morph as the business grows. Our first major purchase was investing in a mobile culinary kitchen so we could add culinary aspects into our design!"
"It may sound crazy but I love planning and executing the event and the obstacles at the end of it all. I get this big satisfaction of those are my designs and the client doesn't know I stayed up all night working on this!"

Paul Saginaw and Ari Weinzweig joined forces to found Zingerman’s Delicatessen. They opened the doors on March 15, 1982. All they wanted at that time was a great corned beef sandwich and an organization with soul. Zingerman’s started as 1300 square feet of combined restaurant and specialty food retail space, run solely by Paul, Ari and two employees. The Zingerman’s Community of Businesses now has 22 partners, employs over 750 people and generates over $60 million in annual sales from ten separate businesses. Paul believes that he has been successful in spite of the fact that he has limited natural talent and abilities because he has always thought that the only real limits are those of vision.
